Properties:

Colorless liquid in appearance. Volatile, flammable liquid with a chloroform-like pungent smell. Insoluble in 3 times water, mixing with major organic solvent, stable against alkali.

Usage:

Widely used Usages in cosmetic, drug, home appliance, car accessory, insecticide, leather polishing, detergent, rubber, paint and ink products. Solubility of ethyl alcohol, ester and ketone by adding few methlal, and also can be used as fuel additive.
